This month at Kansas City Public Library we celebrate those who also serve by waiting–folks in the food service industry. All the waiters, waitresses, line cooks, chefs, bartenders, and bussers who make our dining experiences memorable, for better or worse, are getting a forum, here on this blog and at the Library, to provide their own “tips” to the public about their chosen profession.
Start by getting Tipped Off! with some of Kansas City’s most creative servers as hosted by Pitch Weekly restaurant critic and KKFI host, Charles Ferruzza on Monday, July 14, 6:30 pm at the Central Library. Charles will serve up introductions of the night’s spoken-word performance artists will be sharing some of their most heart- and back-breaking stories from the front of the house.
